We are keen to keep in contact with all our church members and the many supporters who live both near and far.

This means we keep address lists and names, and we understand that we have a responsibility to use methods of contact which are appropriate for each individual and in keeping with the law. In order that we deal with your personal information in line with the General Data Protection Regulation, we publish our Data Consent Form and our Data Privacy Notice, both available below.

Data Privacy Notice

The Parochial Church Council of Winterton All Saints (Winterton PCC) sets out below the legal basis on which we keep personal details, how we process or use it, how long we keep it, and what your rights are in relation to this.

Your personal data will be treated as strictly confidential and will only be shared with other members of the church for purposes connected with the church. We will only share your data with third parties outside the parish when we have your specific consent.

6. How Long Do We Keep Your Personal Data?

We keep data in accordance with the guidance set out in the guide “Keep or Bin: Care of Your Parish Records”, available from the Church of England website. Specifically, we retain electoral roll data while it is still current; gift aid declarations and associated paperwork for up to 7 years after the tax year to which they relate; and parish registers (baptisms, marriages, funerals) permanently.
